Harmland Visions was founded by Christopher Harmon Jr. in the summer of 2010, when he and two fellow event professionals moved to Dallas, TX to begin their careers after college. Together, they launched a company offering Videography, Photography, and DJ services. After early success providing couples with three of the most essential wedding services, the team expanded by bringing on additional professional DJs.

As the company grew, Photobooths, Lighting, and Special Effects were introduced to create a fully curated and elevated production experience for clients. When our trusted photographers retired, the team chose to dissolve the photography department and rebrand the wedding division as Harmland Weddings — a Wedding Collective. Every team member is trained through the Harmland Strategies, where exceptional customer service is our way of life. We stand by our clients from start to finish to bring their dream event to life—whether simple and significant or theatrical and dramatic.

We offer several DJ options, each with their own unique style, personality, price point, and approach. No matter which DJ a couple chooses, they will always receive the same level of care, professionalism, and attention. Our DJs work closely with our lighting and special effects team to ensure every key moment strikes with maximum impact—whether it’s dramatic lighting, Dancing on the Clouds, or Cold Sparks.

Christopher Harmon, CPCE

Christopher Harmon, born in Lake Charles, LA and raised in Monroe, LA, is the owner and founder of Harmland Visions, LLC. He launched the company in July 2010 after moving to Dallas, TX to pursue a career in filmmaking.

Along the way, he discovered a passion for filming weddings and fell in love with the art of storytelling. Chris earned his Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication from Grambling State University, where he received the foundation of his video production training.

As the company grew in Dallas, Chris soon realized its potential—especially after expanding the DJ division. This growth not only elevated the business but also allowed Chris to step into a mentorship role, training and developing new DJs to serve clients with professionalism and skill.

This marked his transition from being solely a videographer to becoming a true entrepreneur. While he still films occasionally, his primary focus shifted to mentoring talent and building strong industry relationships across the nation.

Chris has earned numerous awards from respected industry organizations, including DFW NACE, MPI DFW, the Society of Wedding Professionals, the Professional Wedding Guild of Fort Worth, The Chic Network, ILEA Dallas, TxACOM, and NACE National.

He is also a multiple AACWP Vendi Award recipient and made history as the first business owner to be nominated for four Vendi Awards in different categories within the same year.

Taking his professional journey even further, Chris obtained his CPCE (Certified Professional in Catering and Events) and served as President of the DFW NACE Chapter in 2024. Anyone who knows Chris understands that he is constantly envisioning the next great idea—not only in pursuit of generational wealth but also to create opportunities for his team.

His leadership is unmatched, and he continues to grow, learn, and share his knowledge to empower those around him to become stronger business owners and industry professionals.
